Appearance:
Mitsuri is a curvy young woman of average height and strength, with a slightly pale complexion and round, pale green eyes with long eyelashes and a beauty mark beneath each. She has long, pale pink hair that fades to lime green at the midpoint and is modeled in three thick braids. She has five shorter, jagged clumps of hair hanging over her face as copious bangs, with lime green tips. Her hair was colored black in an effort to make herself appear more appealing since she was attempting to get married. “Mitsuri, the Demon Slayer” Mitsuri’s Mark resembles two hearts with winged figures beneath them; Mitsuri’s Mark appears to be on the left side of her neck.
Mitsuri is dressed in a heavily modified pink-colored version of the normal Demon Slayer outfit, as well as a simple white haori has given to her by Kyojuro Rengoku. Her uniform’s chest section is undone, and she wears a short pleated skirt instead of the traditional tattsuke-hakama pants. She also appears to be wearing navy blue thigh-high socks layered with the vertically striped lime-green socks given to her by Obanai Iguro, as well as a pair of white zri with pink straps.
Mitsuri wore a floral-patterned kimono to the Swordsmith Village. Muzan Kibutsuji’s attacks tear-off Mitsuri’s left and rear braids, which are now narrowed to shoulder length, and a portion of her left ear is also torn at the side all through her and the other remaining Hashira’s fight against Muzan. Mitsuri also loses both of her arms as she entirely removes Muzan’s left arm.
How Old is Mitsuri Kanroji?
Mitsuri Kanroji, love Hashira, is 19 years Old.
Personality:
Mitsuri’s innocent and cheerful demeanor. Mitsuri is an extremely emotional, passionate, and joyful person who continually complements people in her brain, which likely contributes to her nickname “the Hashira of Love.” Despite her shyness and irritability, Mitsuri is usually friendly to others, especially Obanai, with whom she appears to have a great affinity. Mitsuri, despite her sweet and seemingly innocent appearance, will give no quarter in the face of demons, instead of displaying her feelings in a furious tone. She demonstrates a strong commitment to the Demon Slayers’ cause. Despite being taken out of commission by Muzan early in their fight, she was committed to fighting again.
Mitsuri opted to join the Corps in order to locate a suitable husband who was stronger than her, a challenging feat considering her incredible physical prowess. She felt so much sorrow for her decision to become a Demon Slayer after joining the Corps that she ate far less than usual. She was able to overcome her feelings with the support of Shinobu Kocho and Obanai Iguro.
Mitsuri, in addition to her emotional personality, can come across as childish at times. When asked to describe the process of getting the Demon Slayer Mark, she uses noises and sounds. She is an extremely compassionate lady who always shows her affection to others, as befits her Hashira title. She has a tendency to overreact, grabbing her teammates for a massive group hug after the struggle with Gyokko and Hantengu.
When she gets cut by Muzan and pulled out of the conflict by Obanai, she expresses her desire to be useful rather than bring everyone else down. She even begs Obanai to return and avoid being slain. This refers to her feelings for him, the person she may finally love and be loved by. She shares Obanai’s belief that they will reincarnate, meet, and marry in another life.
Abilities:
Mitsuri is a highly skilled and powerful Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. Kyojuro Rengoku considers her accomplishment to be exceptional since she finished the Final Selection after only six months of training. She became a very important player in the fight against Upper-Rank Four, Hantengu, and specifically against his clone, “Zohakuten,” which combines the strength of four Upper-Rank demons. Thanks to her Demon Slayer Mark, Mitsuri managed to hold off Upper Rank until dawn. During the Infinity Castle Arc, Mitsuri fought against the newly appointed Upper
Due to her abnormal muscular constitution, Mitsuri’s muscles are eight times denser than those of a normal human. Her limbs are frail, but they possess incredible strength and endurance, preserving her body’s integrity after a point-blank sound blast from Zohakuten. Mitsuri consumes as much food as three sumo wrestlers to maintain her body composition.
Demon Slayer Mark:
Mitsuri had unconsciously awakened and obtained her Demon Slayer mark during her battle against Upper-Rank Four, Hantengu’s clone, Zohakuten, which takes the form of two hearts upside down and opposite from each other, with angel wings on both sides where the two heart tips meet that appear near her neck, close to her clavicle. When this appeared, Mitsuri’s physical strength, endurance, precision, and power grew tremendously, allowing her to compete with Zohakuten while he unleashed his most powerful techniques against her.
Enhanced Flexibility:
Mitsuri has been recognized to have an incredibly flexible body, allowing her to attain a great range of motion. She has blended her natural flexibility into her Love Breathing skills, successfully outpacing and counterattacking Zohakuten’s techniques. Mitsuri’s superhuman flexibility may also be seen in her whip-like Nichirin Sword, which is also extremely flexible. However, only she can use the sword due to her pliability, which prevents her from being cut while doing high-speed actions with extraordinary ranges of motion.
Speed and Reflexes:
Mitsuri is a Hashira with incredible speed and reflexes. Despite this, she is the slowest runner among her Hashira kin. Her methods, however, have been observed to be faster than the Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui, who, in sharp contrast to her, is the quickest runner of the nine Hashira. Mitsuri first demonstrated her amazing speed when she sliced up and destroyed the spawns made by Upper-Rank Five, Gyokko, before they could even respond, saving countless swordsmiths in the process. Her incredible speed and reflexes were best exhibited during her encounter with Zohakuten when she dodged the Upper Rank’s Blood Demon Art’s lightning and sound waves and proceeded to slash through them with ease.
Immense Strength: Mitsuri boasts a degree of physical strength that is higher than that of average humans, and even matches that of Giyu, Kyojuro, and Sanemi, thanks to her abnormal muscular constitution. Mitsuri had the arm strength when she was 13 months old to lift a 15 kg rock (33 lbs). Mitsuri’s superhuman strength was also demonstrated during the struggle against Muzan, when she was able to grip Muzan’s arms whip, and rip it off with her bare hands, shocking the Demon King.
Fighting Technique:
Mitsuri is a Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps and one of the most formidable and competent swordswomen in the organization. Mitsuri has a unique swordsmanship style centered on her slender and flexible Nichirin Sword, which resembles a whip sword. Her swordsmanship ability enabled her to easily conquer the creatures generated by Upper-Rank Five, Gyokko, slicing the demons up at speeds faster than they could react with amazing accuracy. During her combat with Zohakuten, Mitsuri’s finest demonstrated her distinct swordsmanship style and sword-wielding ability. Mitsuri’s swordsmanship was so exact that she could cut through the Upper Rank’s lightning and sound waves and counter and destroy all of his methods.
Swordsmanship:
Love Breathing: A Breathing Style Mitsuri fashioned herself after her experiences with Flame Breathing as the Tsuguko of Kyojuro Rengoku. Mitsuri’s superhuman flexibility and her distinctive whip-like Nichirin Sword are incorporated into Love Breathing. Using her Breathing Style, she can release attacks with a wide range of motion as well as great ranges that a standard katana would be impossible to achieve.
First Form: The user runs forward with a series of extended whip slashes that wind around and into the victim.
Second Form: Love Pangs: The user unleashes a barrage of powerful whip slices around themself.
Third Form: Catlove Shower: The user leaps and unleashes a barrage of ranged arced attacks in rapid succession.
Fifth Form: The user somersaults backward through the air, creating a long whip-like string of assaults.
Sixth Form: The user twirls upside-down and performs many extending slashing attacks before retracting and extending it again, all in a very short period of time.
Flame Breathing: A Breathing Style Mitsuri learned while training under Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku. However, despite having learned it, Mitsuri is not as skilled with it and cannot use it to her full potential. As a result, she invented Love Breathing, a Breathing Style that is more suited to her and allows her to fully utilize her skills.
Equipment:
Mitsuri wields an incredibly thin, flexible, and long katana resembling a whip, in contrast to most Demon Slayers who utilize regular katanas. It was rumored that it was created by Tecchin Tecchikawahara, probably due to its unusual design, which necessitates a high level of craftsmanship. Because of the structure of her blade, only Mitsuri can use it without hurting herself, owing to her superhuman flexibility. Mitsuri can utilize this katana faster than Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui, who can keep up with Zohakuten’s assaults.
Her whip katana is pink, and the hilt is designed like a four-leaf clover, with a pink core and a golden border, and the words Destroyer of Demons etched on the side. Mitsuri travels with a standard-sized and shaped sword sheath in addition to her unique katana. Mitsuri folds her katana several times to correctly sheathe it due to the peculiar shape of her sword.
