Characters who can Defeat Ichigo (1)

Adapted from Tite Kubo’s ultra-popular manga series, Bleach stars Ichigo Kurosaki, a teenage human and substitute Shinigami who can see spirits and channel supernatural powers. In his quest to save the universe from the sinister Hollows, Ichigo encounters a slew of formidable warriors, most of whom possess equal or superior skills to his own.

Defeating Ichigo is no easy task, as he is surrounded by old friends and archenemies, wise relatives, former captains, and more. It is certainly possible for certain characters under the right circumstances. Here is a list of 7 Characters who can defeat Ichigo Kurosaki.

7. Byakuya Kuchiki:

Actually, Ichigo is pitted against Renji and Zabimaru, but this time the Shinigami lieutenant is on the losing end of the fight. However, just as Ichigo is about to administer the knockout, he sees that his zanpakuto has very little blade above the hilt.

He notices Captain Byakuya waiting at a distance, which perplexes him because he can’t imagine how anyone could move that fast. Kuchiki darts into his close proximity and Ichigo’s breast bursts open as if cloven by an invisible blade, almost before he finishes his thinking.

6. Zaraki Kenpachi:

Kenpachi Zaraki

Kenpachi has Ichigo battling with all his might and soul. According to the story, Zangetsu joins forces with his master, telling Ichigo that he is stronger than Kenpachi merely because Shinigami and Zanpakuto’s communication is missing in Kenpachi’s instance.

The two men resolve to terminate the war in one blow, a spectacular explosion that would knock Ichigo out. Kenpachi concedes the match to his opponent, but the loser is the one who loses consciousness first.

5. Sosuke Aizen:

Aizen Sosuke

Ichigo gatecrashes Soul Society in the first arc, causing a conflagration to sweep across Seireitei’s streets and alleyways, leaving defeated Shinigami in his wake. According to the plot, he obtains his Bankai and challenges Byakuya to determine which of them is morally upright when it comes to capital punishment.

So, it’s no surprise that when Aizen appears, Ichigo tries to take him out as well; despite his weakness, he’s full of confidence following his recent victory. Unfortunately, this time’s opponent is several levels beyond his prior opponent.

4. Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez:

Grimmjow is Ichigo’s antagonist throughout a considerable portion of the early arcs, owing to the two characters’ many similarities. Ichigo is distracted by Rukia’s condition in their first fight, but he quickly turns the tables with a classic Getsuga.

The Espada, on the other hand, mocks his technique’s inferiority, claiming that it isn’t even capable of scratching him in Resurreccion form. Although the fight ended in a technical draw, if it had been permitted to continue, Ichigo would have been defeated.

3. Ulquiorra Cifer:

Ulquiorra is one of the series’ most complicated villains, calm, patient, and, most terrifyingly, cruel and merciless. As expected, his first encounter with Ichigo teaches the substitute Shinigami the concept of true despair, despite the fact that he was also trying to protect Nel.

Ichigo is taken aback when he learns that Ulquiorra is the fourth Espada, indicating there are three more formidable Espadas before Aizen. Ulquiorra literally bores a hole through his body and leaves him to bleed on the ground, so he doesn’t have time to think about it.

2. Ichimaru Gin:

While Isshin Kurosaki, Yoruichi Shihoin, and Urahara Kisuke work hard to defeat a Hougyoku-upgraded Aizen, Ichigo is kept at bay by Gin Ichimaru, whose Shinsou is a difficult zanpakuto to fight.

When his opponent goes Bankai, producing Kamishini no Yari, an overwhelming force with a velocity several hundred times that of sound, things get a lot more difficult for the young hero. Although Ichigo plainly loses this battle, it is subsequently revealed that Gin did not kill him because he was a double agent the entire time.

1. Yhwach:

Yhwach

When Ichigo gallantly explodes out of Hueco Mundo almost immediately after Yhwach has stolen the Captain-invincible Commander’s Bankai, Yhwach’s power tier is leagues beyond his opponent’s, and while he is temporarily flustered by the appearance of Blut Vene in the middle of their battle, he manages to overcome Ichigo’s defenses with little effort. Before Yhwach can bring his unwilling rival back to Wandenreich headquarters, his time in Soul Society expires but perhaps it counts for something that Haschwalth defeats Ichigo right away.
