“My Happy Marriage” is a Japanese light novel series called “わたしの幸せな結婚” (Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon) written by Akumi Agitogi and beautifully illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka. It first gained attention as an online publication on a website where users can publish their own novels called Shōsetsuka ni Narō, and later it was picked up by Fujimi Shobo. My Happy Marriage Plot
The story of “My Happy Marriage” takes place during the Meiji Restoration era in 19th-century Japan. Miyo Saimori, a young woman born without any supernatural talents, endures a life of servitude under her abusive stepmother and younger sister. When she reaches the age of marriage, Miyo is forced into an arranged marriage with Kiyoka Kudou, a renowned commander known for his cold and ruthless nature.
