According to reports, Attack on Titan final season part 2 will end on chapter 130! It is scheduled to air Episode 84 (Season 4 Part 2 Episode 9) on Sunday, which means there are only three episodes left in the final season. Before the anime ends, new information hints at a possible Attack on Titan movie.
MAPPA’s Attack on Titan is currently one of the most popular anime shows. Attack on Titan was written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama and ran from September 2009 to April 2021. There were 139 chapters collected into 34 volumes. Thus, manga fans already know how Eren’s story ends, whereas anime fans are still in the dark.
A total of eight episodes of part 2 of the Attack on Titan anime series have been released so far. Previous episodes adapted Chapter 126 of the manga series, and both the manga chapter and the anime episode were titled “Pride.”.
Additionally, this week’s episode will adapt Chapter 127, titled “Night of the End.” After this Sunday’s episode of Season 4 Part 2, we’ll have three episodes left before the season ends. Fans were already wondering how MAPPA would cover more than ten chapters in just three episodes. It looks like the anime series has different plans.
The title of Episode 12 in Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 is “The Dawn of Humanity.” In the manga, this is the title of Chapter 130. Therefore, you could say that Part 2 of the Final Season might end there.
According to that rumor, the last nine chapters of the manga won’t be animated in the second half of the season.
As of now, it’s unclear what MAPPA plans to do after Episode 87. According to some fans, a movie will be produced to conclude the story, because according to previous leaks, the rumbling part will not be included in Season 4 Part 2 and a new movie will be created by MAPPA titled “Attack On Titan Movie: The Battle of Heaven And Earth”.
It’s still hard to say whether Part 3 will be an anime movie until we hear from MAPPA. On March 27th, 2022, Attack on Titan will get a special panel at AnimeJapan, so maybe we’ll learn something about the anime’s future.
