Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-Kun is a Japanese manga series/ webcomic written by Osamu Nishi and illustrated by Atsushi Tsudanuma. It has been serialized in Akita Shoten’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Champion since March 2017. Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun is an ongoing series that as of now has 27 volumes. The series is a sweet combination of supernatural powers, devils, comedy, and a quest for survival. The event of story starts with our protagonist, Iruma Suzuki, being brought to the netherworld and becoming the grandson of a powerful devil named Sullivan. As the story progresses we see Iruma trying to wholeheartedly live and survive among the devils whose favorite food happens to be humans. The world we see is of warm, wicked, and friendly devils with charming humans among them.

The series is set around devils, the netherworld, and a human among them trying to live a normal life. Our protagonist, Iruma Suzuki, used to be a 14-year-old hardworking human who lived an unfortunate life, earning money for his irresponsible parents at his tender age. Soon he finds that his parents sell him for money to a devil called Sullivan. Worried sick about his fate, Iruma-Kun takes a sigh of relief as Sullivan only wanted a grandson to pamper and spoil with love.
Now he lives in the netherworld and goes to school for devils known as Babyls Demmon School. In the netherworld, he gets to live the luxurious life which was forbidden to him in the human world. In school, he tries to keep a low profile in fear that other devil students may get to know his real identity which is gone in the wind with the discovery that his adopted grandfather is the chairman of the school and a prospective candidate to be the next Demon king.
With a strange, awkward, and brave start to his new life, he becomes friends with other devils and tries to find his goal as he survives and enjoys life with his immensely close friends, Asmodeus and Clara.
Currently, Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun has 2 seasons with 23 and 21 episodes respectively. The anime is adorable, emotional, and worthwhile to watch.
