The story of Records of The Cold Moon starts after 13 years of war. Murim Alliance and Demonic Cult have been in a great war which ended when the Cult Lord died in the war.
However, after 13 years of peace one day suddenly everything changed. Alliance HQ suddenly called every Murim. So Wudong Sect one of the alliance members sent Jiseo and Soweol.
Jiseo is the genius and Seweol is the lazy disciple. However, why the sudden call? Is another war about to erupt?
The story very uniquely focuses on side characters. The art is very good. The action might feel sometimes a bit forced. Also, the main character sometimes is an idiot. However, everything as the story goes on changes. The plot is very engaging as it progresses. So highly recommended.
8. The Swordmaster’s Youngest Son

The story of this Manhwa is quite unique.
The Swordmaster’s Youngest Son focuses on Jin Runcandle. A cursed boy whose swordsmanship was second-rate although he was born into a clan of swordsmen. So eventually he was thrown out of the clan.
This brought Jin to his fateful meeting with Solderet. God Solderet saved him from his curse, however, Jin meets his unfortunate end.
Luckily Jin Runcandle was reincarnated as a baby. He realizes that he received his second chance at life and swore to become the ultimate swordsman.
The story of The Swordmaster’s Youngest Son Manhwa is not quite fleshed out as it is in the Light Novel. However, the art in the manhwa makes up for it. The action of this series is one the best. The main character is quite unique from many typical stories these days. So this one is a must-read if you love some serious characters with great action.
7. Chronicles of Heavenly Demon

Chronicles of Heavenly Demon is a story of revenge.

The story of this series is one of the best. The plot is very fast-paced and as it goes it gets only better. The art of this series, however, is quite derived from the story’s setting and it might take some time to get used to. Still, as you get used to it you will feel its great. Also as we go on we see the Main character’s growth both mentally and physically which is very well depicted. A must-read for the cultivation manhwa fans.
6. Nano Machine

The story is very good. It begins with a very light-hearted feeling. After almost 50 chapters this story will change its tone. The pace is very solid and the art is top-notch. It is one of a kind of revenge story that will make you laugh, angry, and also excited with its great actions.
4. Murim Login

Murim Login series is very underrated yet It is one of the best martial arts manhwa there is.
The story focuses on Jin Tae-Kyung. The story starts with Jin, a low-rank hunter, playing a VR murim game. However, he got stuck there, and after a lot of ups and down, he leaves the murim world. However, the most interesting thing was he also carried over the power of the murim world.
This story has very well-choreographed fight scenes along with beautiful character engagements. The depicts its characters with a lot of care. However, the only slow or uninteresting part might be its real-life world. As we get to know that it gets kinda slow paced. However, this one is very great because a lot of parts of the story are set in the murim world.
3. Legend of The Northern Blade

Finally, we enter the top 3 of our list. Number 3 is one of the most original stories on this list.
The story of Legend of The Northern Blade revolves around Mu-won. In the Manhwa the world is threatened by the entity called Silent Night. Northern Heavenly Sect always protected everyone from the Silent Night.
One day, however, the leader of the sect was accused of alluding to the enemy. So to protect his son, Mu-won, he committed suicide. However, without any friends and family, Mu-won was imprisoned.
One night the Silent Night attacked Northern Heavenly which helps Mu-won to escape imprisonment and his journey begins. A journey to become strong, avenge his father’s death, and save the world from falling into the darkness.
If you want to read a story with a unique plot, great action with amazing art this should be your first choice. The main character is very well balanced with some great-built side characters. Mu-won is a character who always is perfect with situations at hand. His fights are hype as the antagonists are quite well developed too. That’s why it’s one of the top 3 on our list.
2. Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint
