The series is extremely fun with entertaining events taking place on each floor of the tower. The anime also ends with a shocking twist which fans never expected to happen.

Taking this journey with Bam, a naïve boy who undergoes several changes on his adventure is one that no one should miss out on.

The Promised Neverland is one of the wildest and most ambitious stories out there which takes us to an orphanage where the children live together with their caretaker who they call Mama. They spend their days in a carefree manner with adoptions happening at odd intervals.

The main characters, a group of 3 exceptionally smart children, however, fear that there is something dark hidden under this façade and soon find out a horrifying secret about the world they live in as well as the purpose of the orphanage. Watching them plot their escape while trying to survive is an exhilarating experience unlike any other.

Made in Abyss is an extremely underrated anime which takes us through the life of a girl named Riko who wishes to become an adventurer and travel into the abyss. The abyss is a mysterious site which goes deep into the earth and has a variety of relics, treasures and creatures.

After managing to slip past everyone and go into the abyss, Riko and her robotic friend, Reg, are stunned by the beauty of the place. However, they soon find out that they had no idea what they were going into as dangers surround them from all ends and cause a lot of misery.

While the series looks like fun adventure anime at first, Made in Abyss is an amazing piece of dark fantasy with several scenes that even disturb audiences.

As one of the greatest animes of all time, the influence Naruto has had on the anime industry is unparalleled. This inspiring story takes us through the life of a young boy named Naruto who is isolated from his village and has a very rough upbringing. Despite being depressed, he decides to persevere and works hard in order to become the leader or Hokage of his village.

We watch as he goes from a talentless boy to the savior of the world while facing several hurdles and losses which contribute to developing him into a dependable man. Naruto has amazing world-building and many twists which have played a huge part in helping it achieve its popularity.

Be it shocking reveals of villains or misconceptions of characters being cleared up, it is executed to perfection.

Steins; Gate is an extremely complex yet well-structured story which takes place across several different timelines. We are introduced to an eccentric scientist named Rintarou who has created an invention capable of time travelling.

While initially driven by curiosity, he soon finds out the massive consequences which arise from breaking the flow of the world and this causes his mind to be pushed to the brink of insanity.

With an amazing cast of main characters, an addictive soundtrack and several surprising turns of events, this is a gem in the sci-fi genre.

As a member of the Big 3 animes, Bleach has one of the biggest fan bases out there. This amazing Shounen series revolves around a young boy named Ichigo Kurosaki as he is forced to become a soul reaper who works towards protecting humanity and defeating evil spirits known as Hollows.

While the series starts off with this simple distinction between good and evil, it soon evolves into a much larger scale as we are introduced to the Soul Society and several other threats which could be fatal to the world. Known for its amazing side characters and being inspired by a variety of cultural influences, the series still remains unique to this day.

The reveal of its main villain, Aizen, is also one of the most surprising and unexpected plot twists ever in anime.

Assassination Classroom is an exciting anime which follows a class of students who attempt to kill their alien teacher. As a person who threatens to destroy the world, Koro-sensei might seem intimidating at first glance, but is in fact the exact opposite, as he works towards providing a quality education to all his students despite their daily attempts at killing him.

The series gets much deeper later on compared to its earlier bright tone as we are exposed to the tragic and shocking tale of Koro-sensei who was deemed to be a villain. For those who wish to watch a tear-jerking anime with a healthy dose of action and comedy, Assassination Classroom is the series for you.

Set in a world ruled by the Holy Britannia Empire, Code Geass introduces us to a boy named Lelouch who obtains the power to control others. Using this, he wishes to end the corrupt government and begins leading a group of rebels.

With supernatural forces working against him, however, Lelouch will need to come up with several ingenious plans in order to defeat his enemies. In addition to having a brilliant protagonist and several epic moments, Code Geass is filled with twists and turns in the story which leaves us in shock. From deaths of fan-favorite characters to battles of wit, the series has more than earned its acclaim.

Death Note has become a worldwide phenomenon due to its one-of-a-kind story and bold writing. It features a boy named Light Yagami who gets a notebook that allows him to kill anyone by writing their name on it.

Using this, he decides to hand out his own twisted version of justice and play god. With the police being unable to find him, they hire a genius detective named L to take him on. The battle between these two is extremely gripping while featuring moments that blow our minds.

When asked about the biggest plot twist in all of anime and manga, there is a good chance that most people will answer with The Eclipse in Berserk. As the greatest dark manga ever made, it features a man named Guts who joins a mercenary group led by its charismatic leader, Griffith. While experiencing several things together, he forms a close bond with all its members and becomes a renowned warrior.

However, right when things seem like they couldn’t get any better, a devious plan is revealed which would change the entire power structure of the world. While the series itself contains several surprising moments, none quite hold up to its game-changing twist, popularly known as the Eclipse, which has cemented its position at the top of this list.
