Orihime Inoue is the tritagonist of the Bleach anime/manga series. She is Ichigo Kurosaki’s childhood friend as well as his love interest (eventually girlfriend and wife) and a Karakura High School student.
In the Japanese version of the anime, she is voiced by Yuki Matsuoka.
Appearance
Orihime is an average-height girl. She has brown eyes and burnt orange hair that goes up to her waist. Her slim yet voluptuous shape for a teenager, especially in terms of her enormous breasts, is her most prominent physical trait.
She wears her hair in bangs tucked behind her ears with hairpins, which she only takes out when she sleeps, as a tribute to her brother. Orihime’s hair starts out with a full yet parted fringe, but as she prepares to leave for Soul Society, she pulls most of her bangs behind her ears, a change that Tatsuk notices.
Personality
Orihime has an outgoing personality. She is a wonderful person who is friendly to everyone. She can be clumsy and blushes or studders when she’s with Ichigo, but she’s become more at ease around him. Her crush on Ichigo began to develop into pure, genuine love.
She is notorious for inventing some of the oddest cuisines using a variety of condiments, much to the chagrin of everyone.
When it comes to circumstances involving her friends, Orihime does everything she can to strengthen herself so that she is not a burden to them and that she can defend them.
Abilities and Power
Orihime’s abilities are derived from her hairpins. She can summon six fairies known as the Six Flowers of the Hibiscus Shield named, Shun’ou, Ayame, Tsubaki, Hinagiku, Baigon, and Lily respectively.
Orihime’s abilities are largely defensive, with the exception of her Koten Zanshun (Single Heavenly Cutting Shield) technique, in which she fires Tsubaki towards her opponent with such force that he may rip the adversaries in half.
Orihime’s most amazing ability is the Soten Kisshun (Double Heavenly Reflecting Shield) method, in which she summons Ayame and Shun’ou to build a shield around a wounded person.
The shield turns back time, effectively mending all wounds by returning the injured individual to a previous state. The Santen Kesshun (Triple Heavenly) technique is the final Orihime technique.
