I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World is getting an Anime
On Friday Kadokawa announced that Rein Kuwashima, (illustrator), and Miku’s (writer) Isekai de Cheat Skill o Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai o mo Musōsuru (I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World) light novel is getting an anime treatment soon. A teaser visual was also shown for the anime. Illustrations were also revealed by creator Kazuomi Minatogawa and Kuwashima by Kadokawa. Yen Press will handle the release of the novel adaptation in the English language. The book has more than 1.5 million copies worldwide in circulation and the 11th light series will launch on Saturday.
The Witch and the Beast Manga is getting an Anime
Kodansha’s Monthly Magazine’s issue of September announced on Friday that Kosuke Satake’s Majo to Yajū (The Witch and The Beast) manga is getting an anime adaptation soon. The announcement did not have any specific details on the debut date for the release of the anime. The English release of the manga will be handled by Kodansha Comics. The magazine was launched in November 2016 by Satake in Kodansha Young Magazine. Later in 2021, the manga moved to Monthly Young Magazine.
Tsurune TV Anime Gets a 2nd Season
On Friday Koyoto’s animation revealed that Tsurune anime is getting a new season Tsurune: The Connecting Arrow (Tsurune: Tsunagari no Issha) is set to release in 2023. A new character, Eisuke Nikaido will be played by Jun Fukuyama. The cast members who will make the return include Kensho One (Shu Fujiware) and Yuto Uemura (Minato Narumiya). Director, Takuya Yamamura is also returning to direct the new season. A new promo video will be released on the greeting event of Gekijōban Tsurune: Hajimari no Issha movie on 26th August. The first anime show was released on NHK general channel in Japan in October 2018. The anime was licensed by Sentai Filmworks and was streamed in Japan on platforms like HIDIVE and Crunchyroll.
Legendary’s Monsterverse Show Gets New Members
On Thursday, Deadline conveyed that Mari Yamamoto joined the crew of Legendary Entertainment’s Titans and Godzilla for the Apple+ streaming service. Furthermore, the site Deadline also revealed that Matthew Shakman from WandaVision will be the executive producer of the show and will direct the initial two episodes. Matt Falcon and Chris Black will be the show’s co-creators and Chris will be the showrunner. Tory Tunnell and Joby Harold will be the executive producer of Safehouse Pictures alongside Takemasa Arita and Hiro Matsuoka as executive producers from TOHO.
Bilibili Streams Bleach Anime in India
On Sunday Bilibili began the streaming of Bleach in India. The 109 episodes will be available for free streaming on the platform. The anime is adapted from the manga of the same name it was released in 2004 and had 366 episodes, it ended in March 2012. A new anime inspired by the manga will release in October 2022 and it will be based on the “Thousand Year Blood War” arc which is supposedly the final arc, it comprises 55-74 volumes.
